Soccer is a very popular sport world wide.  The Czech Republic is no exception.  Boyd and a Czech volunteer, Jiri, have begun using soccer as an outreach in a Romany community.  Each Friday evening Boyd and Jiri take soccer balls and Bibles with them to a soccer field in a Romany community.  They play soccer for a few hours and during the breaks share Bible stories with the young men.  Pray for Boyd and Jiri as they develop relationships with these young men. Pray that God's Word will make a difference in the lives of these young men. 

Update -- Jennie and the Hatchel children have begun participating as well.  The children play with Romany children in the park while Jennie develops relationships with mothers and teen girls and shares Bible stories with them.

Because unemployement is very high among the Roma, we have been working with small business developers, Rob and Jess Dixon, to implement a business strategy for Romany church planters.  Romany church planters are learning to support themselves and their families through small businissess initiatives such as bee keeping.  Please pray for the church planters who are participating in the program and for Rob and Jess as they work to develop other projects.
